It all started back in 2018 when the pastor’s wife, who was known for coordinating the church weddings, wasn't available. With a few weddings being a bridesmaid under my belt, I said yes to running a small 50 person backyard wedding, & it went smooth! That’s when I fell in love with weddings & became the new director for the church weddings. A few years later, I got to plan my own wedding in 2021 - now you can imagine how much fun it was to plan a wedding during that time! Around 2023, my husband would be the one who helped encourage the dream of turning wedding coordinating into the business and where we are today! Jesse has been the biggest cheerleader and helped lead me in faith to found Kalos Coordinating, LLC. We know that the Lord will lead us in the right direction with our business!
Kalos stems from a Greek word found in 1 Peter 4:10 “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:” The word good there is meant to be something that is beautiful, but it carries more weight than just beautiful. It is to be excellent, magnificent and precious. That has been my drive in every wedding Kalos takes on – that each couple would feel their wedding day (and their marriage) be founded in excellence and magnificence.
Kenisha joined Kalos in April 2024 and—no surprise—met Kelsey through Jesse. The running joke between Kelsey and Kenisha is that Jesse always knows somebody—and it’s absolutely true! There have been at least six weddings where Jesse had a connection, even when the couples reached out to the business independently.
Since joining, Kenisha has found such a special place at Kalos. She’s become an integral part of the team and is truly your go-to hype girl. On your wedding day, she brings warmth, energy, and unwavering support—making sure you feel cared for, celebrated, and completely stress-free.
